Gaylin sponsored 5 units of air coolers to Kwong Wai Shiu Hospital

Gaylin has recently sponsored 5 units of air coolers to Kwong Wai Shiu Hospital due to the recent haze problem which could greatly affect the patients' health as all the wards are not air-conditioned. With the installation of air coolers, the hospital is now able to close the windows & doors to prevent the haze from entering the wards. Kwong Wai Shiu Hospital was established in 1910 and is one of the oldest charity hospitals in Singapore till date. Their facilities include an In-patient Department, a Rehabilitation Centre and a Traditional Chinese Medicine Centre.

  • Saints 7s Tournament

The Saints 7s Tournament is an annual competition organised by St. Andrew's Secondary School. It first started in 2009 and was designed to give schools in Singapore more opportunities to play 7s rugby. There was a need to expose more Singapore kids to 7s rugby especially with 7s rugby being included in the 2016 Olympics. When it was started in 2009, there was only one other 7s tournament for schools and that was the SCC 7s. Therefore the Saints 7s was billed as a warm up tournament for the SCC 7s. The objectives of the tournament are to promote school boy rugby; foster closer relationships with other schools especially local international schools; bring alumni, parents and the school closer as well as build up fund for needy rugby boys.
